QUARTZ MICROBALANCE
Gamry eQCM 15M
The eQCM 15M quartz crystal microbalance from Gamry can be used in a very wide resonance frequency range in measuring cells with different holders and crystals for many applications with high information density.

After bringing a quartz crystal to its specific resonant oscillation between 1 MHz and 15 MHz, Gamry's impedance analyzing eQCM 15M monitors not only the series (fs) but also the parallel resonant frequency (fp) without the need for additional effort to eliminate interfering parasitic capacitances.

QUARTZ MICROBALANCE
QCM-I Quartz Crystal Microbalance with Dissipation by
The QCM-I “Impedance Measurement” method is an established and sensitive technique to characterize hydrated thin films (polymers, biological samples, or biofilm) at an electrode interface in an electrolyte without additional markers and in real time with respect to their viscoelastic properties.

Gamry´s QCM-I is used to measure the impedance of the quartz crystal sensor with a network analyzer to determine both the resonant frequency and the bandwidth. The bandwidth of the resonant spectrum can also be referred to as the resonant frequency quality or peak width at half maximum (FWHM). This is done over several frequency ranges to characterize not only at the fundamental resonant frequency (5 MHz), but also at the higher harmonics (15 MHz, 25 MHz, 35 MHz, etc.)....

ALS ACCESSORIES FOR ELECTROCHEMISTRY
ALS QCM Cells
QCM and eQCM cell for flexible use with different Quartz-Crystal-Microbalances

For measurements with Quartz-Crystal-Microbalances QCM or combined QCM and electrochemical methods, eQCM cells are needed. The ALS cells can be flexibly used as static and as a flow mode cell.
